Australis LYNXX tandem kayak, 4.0m with seats & paddles

Of the tandem sit-on-top kayaks around 4m long the LYNXX from Australis Canoes stands out because of its lighter weight of 28kg where most are 30kg+. The LYNXX is a versatile kayak in that it is a tandem predominantly but it can be paddled as a single. The cockpit has been contoured to incorporate a single paddler seating position in the central part of the kayak ensuring the kayak is evenly balanced bow to stern. The large oval hatch with rubber push-on cover, located in the centre of the kayak, is a standard feature allowing access to the internal cavity for storage. The LYNXX tracks well and is at home in flat water and is great fun in small surf. There are many positions along the gunwales of the LYNXX where flushmount fishing rod holders can be installed.
